Applied Behavior Analysis
ABA therapy,
made simple
Understand what ABA therapy is, how it works, and how it can help your child build meaningful skills for everyday life.

What is ABA therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children build meaningful skills for everyday life. We break larger goals into achievable steps and teach them through positive reinforcement, practice, and activities that are meaningful to your child.
ABA can support children in areas such as communication, social skills, daily routines, independence, learning, and behavior - with goals chosen specifically for each child.
At Sunny, ABA is never one-size-fits-all. Therapy is personalized around your child's strengths, needs, interests, and goals - so the skills they learn can make a meaningful difference in everyday life.

What ABA therapy
looks like at Sunny
It starts with understanding your child
Your BCBA gets to know your child - their strengths, needs, interests, routines, and challenges. We also listen to what matters most to your family. This assessment helps us understand where your child is today and where we can help them grow.
A plan built around your child
Your BCBA creates an individualized treatment plan with meaningful, measurable goals based on your child's needs and your family's priorities. Every goal is broken into achievable steps and adjusted as your child progresses.
One-on-one therapy
A trained therapist works one-on-one with your child to build new skills through structured learning, play, everyday activities, and positive reinforcement. Sessions are designed to keep your child engaged while working toward their individual goals.
Progress you can see
Your BCBA regularly supervises therapy, reviews your child's data, and adjusts the treatment plan as needed. We keep you informed about what your child is learning, where they're making progress, and what we're working toward next.
